I have NO Doubt the Stout would hit the spot.  If I had a choice though, I'd have to go with Lindemans Frambois Float.

Im going stout float. The framboise is too fruity for me. Only time I like it is with Creme Brulee

They both sound good...personally I like Rogue Chocolate Stout, vanilla ice cream and a few fresh raspberries....ok now I'm thirsty
