Arcadia Brewing Company Hires Sales & Marketing Team
(BATTLE CREEK, MI) — Arcadia Brewing Company has just announced the addition of Rick Suarez as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Suarez brings over 25 years of sales and leadership experience with Holsten Imports and (14 years) at La Brasserie Unibroue of Chambly, Quebec Canada to Battle Creek Michigan’s award-winning artisan of hand-crafted, British-inspired ales. Experienced in both supplier and wholesale management, his principal accountabilities will include senior leadership of all distribution, sales and marketing activities throughout Arcadia’s existing and future markets. Joining Mr. Suarez on Arcadia’s sales/marketing team is Jim Javenkoski, Ph.D., who will conduct business development and consumer events for Arcadia primarily in the greater Chicago area. Mr. Javenkoski, who holds bachelors and doctoral degrees in Food Science, has promoted “beer in a culinary context” since 2004 when brought in by Suarez as Culinary Attache’ for Unibroue. His focus will be collaborating with restaurant chefs, owners and managers to enhance beer menus and beer service to guest, as well as tastings, pairings and dinners in specialty and craft beer stores, fine dining restaurants and specialty beer bars in Chicago.
