(July 10, 2009) – Boyne Highlands Resort in Harbor Springs, Michigan, has introduced an exciting line-up of dinners highlighting Michigan beers and wines planned through September.  The dinners take place in the resort’s Main Dining Room and consist of a three course meal artfully paired with beverages from the event’s guest brewer or winery.   Michigan beer dinners are $30 and Michigan wine dinners are $40 and both include hors d' oeuvres, dinner and preselected alcoholic plus non-alcoholic beverages.  The events begin at 6 p.m.  Upcoming dinners feature Arcadia Brewing Co. on August 3, Blackstar Farms on August 10, Mountain Town Brewing Co. on September 8 and a wine dinner to be announced on September 15.  Boyne Highlands Executive Chef, Edgar Jacobs, creates mouth-watering menus for the special dinners, each highlighting fresh and local ingredients which enhance the nuances and flavors of the featured pairings.  The presenting brewmaster or winemaker joins in the evening and shares their knowledge and experience with patrons.
