MEDIA ALERT PEM HOSTS AN EVENING OF FINE ALES AND FINE ART Dutch Beer TastingThursday, August 20th | 6 – 9 pm Induldge and delight in an evening of Dutch culture at PEM. Start with a curatorial tour PEM’s acclaimed summer exhibition, The Golden Age of Dutch Seascapes, and a discussion of Dutch beer history and culture with expert Peter G. Rose, author of Matters of Taste: Food and Drink and Seventeenth-Century Dutch Art and Life and Matthew Steinberg, Director of Brewing Operations at the Mayflower Brewing Company. Afterward, sample six of the finest Dutch and Flemish beers paired with an array of delicious Dutch foods. This sumptuous evening of Dutch cultural appreciation is tailored for lovers of beer and art alike.
