2nd ANNUAL WINTER BEER CARNIVAL OFFERS MORE THAN GREAT BEERS!

Fans to Enjoy Midway Games, Rides and Entertainment at Atlanta’s Tastiest Winter Party on February 19th 

Atlanta – The 2nd Annual Winter Beer Carnival will pour up plenty to taste and experience on Saturday, February 19th from 3pm – 7pm.  With a move to a new Midtown location, Spring Street at 8th Street, this year’s event is being expanded to accommodate more beers, carnival games, and activities.  A giant tent along with outdoor space at this new location will be transformed into a carnival themed celebration featuring midway games, food and live entertainment as well as beer sampling stations featuring more than 100 beers. 

The Winter Beer Carnival prides itself on offering up one of the most eclectic beers lists available at any brew festival in the city.  Patrons can enjoy traditional favorites plus premium craft beers and an assortment of the best winter brews from breweries near and far.  Atlanta’s Tastiest Winter Party offers patrons the opportunity to sample 100+ beers – that’s one beer sample every 3 minutes! 

In addition to the tasty beer samples, fans can enjoy more than 30 midway styled games and activities. Games range from traditional carnival favorites such as High Striker, Milk Can Madness, Skee Roll and Football Toss to beer themed games like Beer Pong, Tin Can Alley and Ring A Bottle featuring more than700 Sweetwater beer bottles. The event also features some quirky game adaptations such as the Toilet Toss and Ring A Flamingo. Back for an encore appearance will be last year’s most popular feature, the life-sized Surgery game will offer fans a bit of childhood game nostalgia as they have the chance to operate on the patient or get “buzzed” if they make a mistake.  This year all games are included in the ticket price which allows fans unlimited game plays throughout the event. If games aren’t your thing, fans can also show off their snow tubing skills on a giant 40’ ice slide or walk through a full scale Mardi Gras themed Fun House. DJ Jobe will be spinning today’s hottest music and there will be plenty of other live entertainment and surprises for party goers.  

For hungry event fans, several food vendors will be on site offering up a variety of food for sale.  West Midtown’s favorite hotspot, Ormsby’s will be serving up their special Guinness braised bratwurst with all the trimmings.  Other vendors on site will offer up an assortment of gourmet cheeseburgers, jerk chicken sandwich and fish sandwiches as well as traditional carnival fare such as corndogs, funnel cakes, and cotton candy.     

Tickets for the Winter Beer Carnival are ON SALE NOW and fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early as last year’s inaugural event SOLD OUT in advance. The ticket price includes all the beer you can safely consume, a commemorative sampling glass (while supplies last), plus unlimited plays of various carnival games and activities (with some exclusions applying). General admission tickets are $35 in advance or $40 day of show. For the true beer connoisseur, “HOP-timize” your event ticket to a $60 VIP ticket and receive admission into the event 1 hour early (at 2pm) and access to the VIP area featuring a premium selection of top rated and hard to find beers, VIP seating and dedicated restrooms facilities. The event is also offering $20 Designated Driver tickets for fans who want to enjoy the event without consuming beer samples.
