Social Fox Brewing Takes Home Two US Open Beer Championship Medals

Social Fox Brewing in Norcross, Georgia has announced it won two medals at the 2021 U.S. Open Beer Championship. Full details are below.

Social Fox Brewing took home a Gold Medal for Old Reynard, their English Barleywine, as well as a Bronze Medal for their Irish Stout at this year's 2021 US Open Beer Championship.

Social Fox Brewing has only been open for one year, and Old Reynard tied for the Gold with Anchor Brewing Co.’s Old Foghorn, which has been brewed since 1975. It is widely believed to be the first modern American Barleywine, which sparked renewed interest in the style domestically and in Britain.
