5th Annual Chinese Lunar New Year Celebration + Beer Collaboration

Continuing a tradition, Highland Brewing is partnering with Lucky Envelope Brewing for the fifth consecutive year to craft a special beer honoring the Chinese heritage of both brewery owners and celebrating the Lunar New Year. The Wooden Dragon(fruit) Wheat Ale, a vibrant pink-colored ale infused with dragonfruit powder and puree, will be released in Asheville. The festivities include a beer and dumpling pairing event, a day of Lunar New Year celebrations featuring a lion dance performance, and the distribution of ceremonial red envelopes for luck in the Year of the Wooden Dragon.

Cold Mountain 2024 Date Announced

Highland Brewing's annual release of Cold Mountain Winter Ale, a beloved tradition in Western North Carolina, will take place for the 28th year. Fans can gather at the brewery's taproom from November 8th to 10th for a weekend filled with winter warmers, music, and family fun.
