H2Roads Raspberry Hard Seltzer by Two Roads Brewing Co. is being evaluated as a fruited seltzer with guidelines created by The Beer Connoisseur, which can be found here.

This beverage pours a bubblegum pink with a small thin white head that immediately falls. Clarity is very good but short of brilliant. The color is quite attractive and whets the appetite by making it known that this was likely crafted with real fruit. The aroma is fairly faint overall with mild raspberry and a light presence of sulfur compounds that are volatile, leaving only the trace presence of fruit. Overall, the aroma is fairly clean and straightforward.

The flavor has moderate raspberry presence that carries long into the finish. This beverage is on the drier side, which helps the palate from being weighed down and practically encourages the next sip. Acidity is well balanced within this product and, while noticeable, it helps more than it detracts. Moderate carbonation is present with an impression of more effervescence due to the lack of body and dry finish.

Overall a very nice product that is relatively clean and drinkable. The raspberry is on the subtle side so those seeking greater flavor or complexity of flavor may want to look elsewhere.
